AN  ENTREPRENEUR WITH EXTRA ORDINARY QUALITIES
Dangote is a core entrepreneur, who listen to nothing less than success. A business he started with 200,000 naira though It is a huge amount of money during this time, but his skills and entrepreneurship capability in using such a fund to build what is known today as the largest conglomerate in Africa is an extra ordinary achievement which only core entrepreneurs can do.

BELOW ARE SOME OF THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP QUALITIES THAT HAS MADE DANGOTE TO STAND OUT AMONG MILLIONS OF ENTREPRENEURS IN THE WORLD.
HE RELY ON ACHIEVEMENT NOT ON PAPER QUALIFICATION: Dangote is an envy of professors of management and economics because his business leadership and managerial skills and experience is outstanding irrespective of not acquiring the masters nor doctorate degree in business and management. That is why I always tell people that what you are is inside you and not on the certificate and making the certificate the yard disk to measure how successful you are is indeed a disaster for you.  From Dangote’s achievements, it shows that one does not even need all the certificate in the world to run a successful business man.
HE IS HARD WORKING: If you think that this man does nothing but relax and enjoy his money I want to assure you that this man Dangote is a very hard working man even though he has made so much money that can take care of him, his family and the next generation for the next 200,000. He shows by example that hardworking is a core trait every entrepreneur should exhibit. In one interview which was conducted by a new media company he talked about how he wake up very early in the morning and goes to bed late in the night in order to make sure he finishes daily task and schedules.
HE HAS PASSION FOR WHAT HE DOES: Dangote love business and this passion for business made him what he is today. When you do what you love you will have the energy, the anxiousness and the patience to keep going even when the road becomes very rough and filled with all sorts of problems. The only thing that can deny a man his sleep is doing what he loves doing and that is how it is in the case of Dangote.
HE HAS A WONDERFUL LEADERSHIP QUALITIES: Looking at the size of business and workforce under his care, you will truly know that it takes a leader with extra ordinary leadership skills to lead the large workforce to success. He knows how to handle both the human and material resources to achieve a certain goal.
HE NEVER RELENTED ON STARTING SMALL AND ENDING BIG: Though many people will say that he had a soft landing, in the sense that he was born to a very rich family and also was favored by some Government in power. But looking at the way he started he din't just jump into a large conglomerate, but he decided to start small to learn the trade and gather the experiences which is helping him today.
HE HAS THE ABILITY TO DETECT VIABLE BUSINESS IDEAS AND OPPORTUNITIES: Just like core entrepreneurs he had is someone who can detect a business idea and opportunity that can work. When he started in 1977 he noticed that the distribution of food commodity round Nigeria is a great challenge to both the sellers and the buyers. So he have to bank on that to build a fast commodity distribution network in Nigeria which has today made his products a house hold name in Nigeria families.
                                          PHILANTHROPIC GESTURE
Dangote is indeed giving back to the society. He has given overwhelmingly to both the government and some non governmental organisation who takes care of the needy. He is also dong a lot through his foundation. He is sponsoring thousands of Nigeria students in the high institutions.
