But remember that in free blogging platform you have limitations unlike when you pay for hosting and host your blog. In free blogging platform your blog can be removed without your permission unlike in a paid platform where you are the rightful owner of the blog and can do anything you want with your blog. Though free platforms have its limitation, it is a good starting place for amateur bloggers who are still learning the business of blogging. Under the paid blogging platform you are the one to register your domain name and host your blog.

Wordpress.com: wordpress.com is a free blogging platform which many bloggers use to publish their contents online. To create a free blog on worpress.com just go to the website and follow the instructions and in just few minutes you will be true.
livejournal.com: livejournal is a wonderful free platforms where you can set up your blog. to create your blog with livejournal simply navigate to their website and follow the procedures which are very simple.
tumbr.com: to start your free blog on on tumblr simple visit www.tumbr.com. It is very easy , with a good mobile apps of tumblr it is very easy to upload and submit contents from anywhere in the world.
medium: medium is another platform on which you can set your blog for free. Medium is the brainchild of twitter's founders. It does not favor deep customization and control but it is a sure way to set up a free blog.
