Please don’t call me a prophet I am not a prophet and I am not intending to be one except if God want me to be , but what I am writing about is a feeling that comes from my heart.         The next generation of Nigerian billionaires are going to come from agriculture. Believe it or not it is dream that must come into reality. You hardly see an agro based entrepreneur in today’s top Nigerian billionaires but I want to assure you that in the nearest future agricultural entrepreneurs will not only take over from today’s billionaires but they will have a strong hold in the economy of the country.

 HOW THE NEXT AGRO BASED  BILLIONAIRES WILL EMERGE

  WITH THE FLUCTUATING PRICE OF OIL AGRIC WILL BE THE ALTERNATIVE FOR REVENUE GENERATION

   The unsteady rising and fallen of the crude oil in the market has indeed warn Nigerian government that if our mono economic system continues, that some where in the nearest future the government will run out of cash to pay the recurrent bills not to talk of embarking on capital projects. Not just the oil price and it’s fluctuating price, China and many of great industrialist are now spending money researching on technology that will bring fueless vehicles and machines into existence. If their research becomes successful and there is mass production of such vehicle in a commercial quantity, then that will be the end of our oil. At this point government will have no alternative but to harness the agriculture to become the revenue hub of Nigerian economy. This will help many farmers who are already into the business and with government support they are going to expand their corporate farms and create employment opportunities for Nigerians.

      TOO MUCH ATTENTION WILL BE PAYED TO AGRICULTURE IN THE FUTURE

Many people will like to become a farmer in the nearest future. With the increase in the number of people who want to go into agricultural sector, the agro based entrepreneurs will tap on this to either help them establish their farm or help them with one input or the other. This will create a room for the agro based entrepreneurs to make more money.

THE NIGERIA MARKET SHOWS THAT THERE IS A BRIGHTER FUTURE AHEAD

With over one hundred and fifty million Nigerians, Nigeria is in no doubt  the largest market in Africa, agro based entrepreneurs will make a lot of money trying to feed the citizens of the most populated African country. Nigeria is the largest market in Africa and that is an advantage to Nigeria agricultural  entrepreneurs. No matter the quantity of agricultural products you produce the truth still remain that it will hardly saturate the Nigeria agricultural and commodity market.

With government and some financial organization paying so much attention on agriculture, there is no doubt that in the future agricultural entrepreneurs will have a very soft landing in in obtaining loan and other financial facilities that will enable them to build and expand  their farms and other agro based investments.

I regard the business ideas in the agricultural sector as a powerful idea because they are ideas that are very viable and lucrative. So the agricultural investors and corporate farmers will not be far away from the billionaire’s world because they are dealing with powerful business ideas that has the capability of yielding huge revenue for them.

By the time Nigeria's abundant resources will be exploited by these corporate farmers and agricultural investors, indeed they will start making a lot of money exporting some of raw materials and already refined and produced goods from the agricultural sectors to other countries.
